The Goldberg Lab
The Goldberg Lab studies the molecular mechanisms Plasmodium falciparum parasites utilize to ensure protein export to the red blood cell, parasite egress, and survival of fever with an aggregation-prone proteome. We discover new drug targets employing a combination of biochemical, genetic, genomic, cell biological, and physiological approaches. Our lab is an interactive, supportive, and collaborative microcosm that encourages and celebrates diversity.
